The second edition of "Desktop Swag" for your viewing pleasure!
This inspiration comes from a man who helped me to really realize my potential. Stuart Tolle was a science teacher at the high school I attended. He was a Class 'A' man - always smiling, always cheering kids up, and more importantly - always helping the kids who needed it most. He was an icon of support and strength in our school. He is the reason many basketball players and football players and swim team members knew their stuff, and also the reason many of them graduated. In May 2009, Stuart Tolle passed away at his home just hours following my graduation from High School. I was honored to say he touched my life in a hugely impactful way, and this is just one homage I can pay to his lifelong lessons.
"You're Looking at the Forest, but You're Not Seeing The Trees." - Tolle would say this to everyone who would listen as a reminder to not just see the bigger picture, but to understand every piece of what makes it up. The moving parts, the individuals, all of the factors to make something run like clockwork.
Enjoy a little motivation - don't forget to look at the trees!
